2023 AGM

The UK-ICN annual general meeting takes place in autumn every year, providing a unique cross-disciplinary networking opportunity. Each meeting hosts topics aligned with the UK-ICN Research Themes:

This year’s annual general meeting will be preceded by a one-day data-driven workshop focused on coronaviruses at multiple scales. 

Both the pre-meeting workshop and AGM will be hosted at the Institute of Microbiology and Immunity at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia.

Pre-meeting Big Data Workshop – Coronaviruses at Multiple Scales: Molecules to Population (Sponsored by Zoetis)

Wednesday 13th September, 2023

 

A data-driven workshop giving an overview of coronavirus research at multiple scales – “Molecules to Population”. This meeting will focus on discussions around the current challenges around big data, how to utilise existing information and the future of big data in an era of artificial intelligence and machine learning. We are inviting abstract submissions for oral presenters to showcase their big data coronavirus research and/or development of big data workflows and pipelines. This could include (but is not limited to) behavioural data, epidemiological studies and diagnostic data. The workshop will not feature any posters.

2023 UK-ICN Annual General Meeting

Thursday 14th – Friday 15th September, 2023

 

Our annual general meeting follows a standard scientific meeting format with session topics aligned to the five UK-ICN research themes. We are inviting abstract submissions with the view to include a mixture of experienced and early career researcher presenters throughout the program. The format of presentations offered will include oral and poster presentations. Registration deadline: Friday 1st September 2023.
